The new online platform DutchFocus-China.com spotlights 29 theatre and dance companies from the Netherlands. The platform was developed with the support of Dutch Performing Arts, in response to the lack of international touring opportunities caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year Istanbul Theatre Festival presented an extensive online programme alongside a selection of physical performances. In collaboration with Dutch Performing Arts, the festival presented live streamed performances by Dutch theatre and dance companies NDT 2 and Club Guy & Roni. The 24th edition of Istanbul Theatre Festival took place from 6 November until 1 December 2020 online and in Istanbul, Turkey.

In collaboration with Dutch Performing Arts, the 20th edition of actoral presents the work of three Netherlands-based artists: Joseph Simon, Cherish Menzo and Julian Hetzel. The festival takes place from 11 September - 10 October 2020 at various venues in Marseille, France.

Gender Bender is an international festival presenting new imagery related to gender identities, sexual orientations and body representations. The festival takes place in Bologna, Italy from 24 October-3 November with over 100 events ranging from film showings to theatrical productions and dance performances, visual arts exhibitions, installation, roundtables and conferences, performances by musicians and DJs and clubbing events.

In collaboration with Dutch Performing Arts, the 18th edition of interdisciplinary festival Actoral will spotlight the work of 6 Dutch makers and companies in a special programme titled Temps fort Pays-Bas.

The 102nd edition of the ISPA congress will be in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. Leeuwarden-Friesland 2018 will host the congress. Dutch Performing Arts and Performing Arts Fund NL are financially supporting this edition.
