Three Dutch-language theatre texts at La Chartreuse
This summer La Chartreuse, Centre national des écritures du spectacle, presents the work of Dutch playwrights Magne van den Berg and Frank Siera, and Flemish playwrights Jan Sobrie and Raven Ruëll. Three French artistic teams will present stage readings of their texts in front of professional and regular audiences on 21 and 24 July 2021. The readings at La Chartreuse as well as the translations themselves are part of a four-year project to promote Dutch-language theatre texts in French-speaking regions, a joint effort of Dutch Performing Arts, Maison Antoine Vitez, Flanders Arts Institute, and Flanders Literature.

De Dansers at Segni D'infanzia 2021
As part of a continued collaboration with Dutch Performing Arts, cultural children's festival Segni D'infanzia presents theatre and dance from the Netherlands for young audiences. Kicking off the Dutch performances on 9 & 10 July 2021 — followed by another selection of Netherlands-based companies in October — is dance company De Dansers.

For the second time DramatikerInnenfestival in Graz, Austria puts the spotlight on contemporary Dutch and Flemish theatre texts. The festival takes place from 8-13 June 2021.

French translation of Dutch-language theatre text presented at Festival Regards Croisés
On 5 May 2021 the French translation of the theatre text ‘Embrouilleurs!’ (‘Woestzoeker!’), originally written in Dutch by Jan Sobrie, will be presented at Festival Regards Croisés in Grenoble, France. The presentation is part of a joint effort of Dutch Performing Arts, Flanders Literature, Flanders Arts Institute, and Maison Antoine Vitez to promote Dutch-language theatre texts in French-speaking regions.

The new online platform DutchFocus-China.com spotlights 29 theatre and dance companies from the Netherlands. The platform was developed with the support of Dutch Performing Arts, in response to the lack of international touring opportunities caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dutch dance and theatre at Istanbul Theatre Festival 2020
This year Istanbul Theatre Festival presented an extensive online programme alongside a selection of physical performances. In collaboration with Dutch Performing Arts, the festival presented live streamed performances by Dutch theatre and dance companies NDT 2 and Club Guy & Roni. The 24th edition of Istanbul Theatre Festival took place from 6 November until 1 December 2020 online and in Istanbul, Turkey.

Sector meeting and Dutch shows at TAZ#19
With the support of Dutch Performing Arts, theatre festival Theater aan Zee (TAZ) presents a multitude of theatremakers and companies from the Netherlands. The festival also hosts a sector meeting (in Dutch) for theatre professionals from the Netherlands and Flanders. The sector meeting is organised by TAZ, Dutch Performing Arts, rekto:verso, Stichting Nieuwe Helden, Cultuurloket, and deBuren.

Dutch Performing Arts proudly powers three Netherlands-based theatre companies and artists who are part of the International Theatre Festival at the Venice Biennale 2019. Theater Artemis, Club Gewalt and Julian Hetzel are part of a Dutch focus programme, with multiple performances in July and August 2019.
