For the second time DramatikerInnenfestival in Graz, Austria puts the spotlight on contemporary Dutch and Flemish theatre texts. The festival takes place from 8-13 June 2021.

On 5 May 2021 the French translation of the theatre text ‘Embrouilleurs!’ (‘Woestzoeker!’), originally written in Dutch by Jan Sobrie, will be presented at Festival Regards Croisés in Grenoble, France. The presentation is part of a joint effort of Dutch Performing Arts, Flanders Literature, Flanders Arts Institute, and Maison Antoine Vitez to promote Dutch-language theatre texts in French-speaking regions.

The new online platform DutchFocus-China.com spotlights 29 theatre and dance companies from the Netherlands. The platform was developed with the support of Dutch Performing Arts, in response to the lack of international touring opportunities caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

From 4-31 January 2021, IPAY Showcase in Place 3: Superbloom brings shows for young people from all over the world to your screen. After live performances by Netherlands-based theatre and dance companies at IPAY Showcase in 2019 and 2020, the orange streak continues with a virtual keynote by science journalist Mark Mieras on 13 January 2021.

In collaboration with Dutch Performing Arts, cultural children's festival Segni D'infanzia presents performances by Dutch theatre and dance companies Simone de Jong and De Dansers. The festival takes place online from 31 October until 8 November 2020.

With the support of Dutch Performing Arts and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Egypt, Hakawy International Arts Festival for Children presents a Dutch focus with 15 performances from the Netherlands. The Dutch focus takes place from 2-10 March 2020 in various cities in Egypt.

Youth theatre company Theater Artemis will give two performances of their production 'The Story of the Story' (Het verhaal van het verhaal) at Aichi Triennale, one of the largest international contemporary art festivals in Japan. The company will perform on 13 Ocotber 2019 in Nagoya.

Dutch theatre for young audiences returns once more at international festival Gavroche with the support of Dutch Performing Arts. After having programmed a number of Dutch productions in 2013, the festival will present another 11 Dutch youth theatre productions during its 13th edition.
