Four music groups from the Netherlands at jazzahead! 2021
Four music groups from the Netherlands will be part of the European Jazz Meeting at jazzahead! 2021: Rembrandt Frerichs Trio, Sun-Mi Hong Quintet, KAMA Kollektiv, and Guy Salamon Group will perform for the international jazz industry in 30- to 45-minute showcases. They were originally part of last year's edition in Bremen, Germany which had to be cancelled due to COVID-19. This year the trade fair and festival organises their 10th anniversary edition online from 29 April-2 May 2021.
At jazzahead! Dutch Performing Arts presents the Dutch jazz scene in collaboration with inJazz/Buma Cultuur. Jazzahead! is an annual trade fair and the leading meeting place for the international jazz scene. It is an international industry get-together with an integrated showcase festival. A jury of international jazz experts selected the music groups that will be playing the 32 showcase concerts.
Originally selected for the European Jazz Meeting in April 2020, which was called off because of the current pandemic, the following Dutch music groups get another chance to perform for the international jazz industry at this year's online edition of jazzahead!:

As part of jazzahead! Festival, which is open to the general public, Dutch music group Tin Men and the Telephone will present an immersive multimedia performance that combines improvised music, visuals, and audience participation. Their performance will be live streamed from Amsterdam on 30 April 2021 at 20:00.
