Performing as part of the Dutch showcase are: Tineke Postma Freya, Tin Men and the Telephone, Niels Broos & Jamie Peet, and Binkbeats.
Sounds of the Dutch Underground is a co-production of Dutch Performing Arts, Good Music Company and Winter Jazzfest, supported by Buma Cultuur and the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in New York.

The artists are a prime example of forward-thinking contemporary jazz being made today in the Netherlands. They represent a very distinctive Dutch style, blending contemporary music with jazz, improvised music, and electronics.
