Showcase festival Dutch Delta Sounds is the celebration of the 10th anniversary of open source network World Music Forum NL. Two days of showcases of the best that Dutch world music has to offer.
World Music Forum NL and Dutch Performing Arts work closely together on an international visitors' programme to introduce (new) Dutch work, musicians and bands to the right international presenters.
Dutch Delta Sounds presents a contemporary mix of adventurous music from all corners of the world, rooted on Dutch soil. The event will be held at two prominent eye-catching venues: Paradiso Noord (Tolhuistuin) and the Bimhuis situated on opposite banks of Amsterdam's River IJ waterfront - a perfect reflection of the Dutch delta.
The showcase acts are: Ahaddaf Quartet, Antimufa, Boi Akih, Carel Kraayenhof Ensemble, Göksel Yilmaz Ensemble, KOFFIE, Minyeshu, NO blues, Ronald Snijders, Rumbatá Beat Band, The Dubbeez, Tiltan, Nils Fischer & Timbazo and Voodrish.
