Operadagen Rotterdam / Operatie Muziektheater 2017
Operadagen Rotterdam organises a professionals programme, supported by Dutch Performing Arts.
Dutch Performing Arts works closely together with Operadagen Rotterdam and de Doelen, local organiser of Classical:NEXT (running concurrently) to introduce and present (new) Dutch work, musicians and companies to international presenters from 17 - 20 May 2017.
Part of the professionals' programme is Operatie Muziektheater, where international professionals are introduced to the important music theatre talent of today and tomorrow.
Dutch Performing Arts also presents Lunch with the Residents, a daytime local stage that will showcase the state of the art in classical and contemporary music from the Netherlands, during Classical:NEXT. It's organised by de Doelen.
Operadagen (Opera Days) Rotterdam is an international ten days' festival taking place annually in May. The festival presents a stirring series of contemporary and confronting music theatre and opera productions as well as a fringe programme with many more intimate shows at unexpected locations throughout the city of Rotterdam to both public and professionals.
