Pop Arts Festival 2016
From 14 April until 24 April, the seventh edition of Pop Arts will take place in Theater Bellevue, Jeugdtheater De Krakeling, Ostade A’dam, De Brakke Grond and at several outdoor locations. For two weeks the festival offers a full programme with over 30 performances from the Netherlands and abroad.
From 14-16 April there's an international visitors' programme during Pop Arts Festival supported by Dutch Performing Arts. Below you can find the international visitors who are attending the festival and their programme.
Together with Pop Arts and the department of Theatre Studies of the University of Amsterdam, Dutch Performing Arts organises a seminar on Friday April 15 (10.00 am-4.00pm). Theme of the seminar is Imagine: Technology and it focuses on the role of technology in relation to theatre, theatrical space, design and the spectator. Speakers/panellists include: Bram de Goeij (Story Based Media), Ramses Graus (The Branch), Wannes Deneer (Tuning People), Stef de Paepe (RITSC and Image Smederij the Moon) and Kati Röttger (UvA). The seminar is moderated by Marijn Lems.
The seminar takes place in theatre Ostade A'dam. Participation is free, but we ask you kindly to register in advance by sending an e-mail to info@nmore.nl. Please register before 24 March.
