Theaterfestival Boulevard 2021 professionals' programme
#professionals #networking #exchange #inspirationIn collaboration with Dutch Performing Arts, Theaterfestival Boulevard invites theatre professionals to their international professionals' programme, which takes place from 11-14 August 2021 in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.
Theaterfestival Boulevard presents non-conformist theatre, dance and musical theatre and artistic forms at the festival's main stage and at unique locations in and around the city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch. This year the festival presents around 120 productions from the Netherlands, Flanders and other European countries.
Theaterfestival Boulevard's professionals' programme introduces (new) Dutch work, artists and companies to international presenters. Invitations to the professionals' programmes are extended by the festival.
An important theme of this year's festival edition is the Human Specific Approach, which combines a
more open and social approach towards art with a creative process that unites communities, artists, festivals and theatres. In a special project entitled Lijn 73 the festival pairs artists with communities; the artistic process that follows results in performances and installations. Some of these already launched and include work by BERLIN, Nastaran Razawi Khorasani, Joseph Toonga, Chiara Bersani, Jija Sohn & Francesca Lazzeri. Through the three-day professionals' programme, international presenters are introduced to some of the Lijn 73 projects and get to meet the artists involved.
For more information about the programme or other questions related to international affairs, contact Job Rietvelt, job@festivalboulevard.nl.
Theaterfestival Boulevard offers an adventurous and varied programme presented throughout the historic city centre of 's-Hertogenbosch: In theatres and other cultural venues like concert halls and museums, but also in disused factory buildings, parks, gardens, new housing estates, and cafés.
The international professionals' programme is organised by Theaterfestival Boulevard in collaboration with Dutch Performing Arts. The programme is made possible by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.
